Amitabh Bachchan doesn’t seem to be in a mood to hang up his acting shoes any time soon. After enthralling his fans in Buddah Hoga Tera Baap, he also impressed everyone in his role as a college principal in Aarakshan. Already, there’s a buzz that he might collaborate once again with Puri Jagannath for a film in 2012. Now, the latest news which is making news is that Amitabh Bachchan has joined the cast on a Hollywood film, “The Great Gatsby” which will be directed by Baz Luhrmann. Leonardo Di Caprio is going to play the lead role in this film.

Baz Luhrmann had earlier made ‘Moulin Rouge’ in the past with Nicole Kidman and the principal shooting of ‘The Great Gatsby’, a romantic drama, will begin later this week in Sydney. Scottish-Australian actress Isla Fisher will also be seen in this film alongside Leonardo and Big B. The $125 million project is a 3D adaptation of the classic F. Scott Fitzgerald novel of the same name and Big B will play the role of Meyer Wolfsheim.
