Vijayendra Prasad, the father of ace Telugu director S.S.Rajamouli,has been banned by the Producers Council. The ban will come into effect as soon as Rajanna is complete. Vijayendra Prasad is the director of Akkineni Nagarjuna’s period drama ‘Rajanna’.

We have learnt from reliable sources in the industry that the council decided to ban Vijayendra Prasad over his dispute with Producer Medikonda Murali. It has been learnt that Vijayendra Prasad took an advance of approximately 6-7 lakh rupees almost seven or eight years ago from Murali to provide a script. The project never materialized and Vijayendra Prasad never returned the money, as per Medikonda Murali’s complaint.

The council looked into the issue and after listening to both sides of the argument, decided to ban the veteran script writer and director. We will have to wait and see how this issue will go forward from here.
