Akkineni ‘yuva’ hero Naga Chaitanya has been doing some interesting films of late and Autonagar Surya is one of them. The movie reportedly deals with the powerful labour unions of Vijayawada.Autonagar Surya is the brainchild of Deva Katta, the critically acclaimed director of Prasthanam and Vennela. A dialogue teaser was released when Deva Katta announced the project of Autonagar Surya and that was received very enthusiastically. Deva Katta has shown that he is adept at helming hard hitting satires on ‘the system’, so Autonagar Surya should be interesting.

The movie will begin regular production from Vijayadashami day and will continue in a single schedule till the shoot completes. Samantha is the heroine for this movie and Anup Rubens is scoring the music.The movie is being produced by K.Atchi Reddy on Max India banner and R.R.Movie Makers are acting as the presenters.
