Nandamuri heroes like Balakrishna and Junior NTR are always best suitable for powerful and high voltage action scripts. Nevertheless ‘Samara Simha Reddy’ or ‘Simha’ or ‘Simhadri’ have proved that. Of course, Balayya has come back to his terrific form with ‘Simha’ and now it is the turn of Boyapati Srinu to give new acceleration for Junior NTR career with ‘dammu.’ While the Lion look of Balayya in ‘Simha’ is unforgettable, now appearance of Jr. NTR at the audio launch of ‘Mogudu’ says that Boyapati is using the same trick of playing with twirled moustaches. The best quality in this action loving director is he never risks on experiments. What Boyapati knows is to follow a trend. He adds up his own style taking sufficient care in satisfying the masses to fullest. Let us wish that ‘dammu’ be one more peak film for NTR. |
NTR’s upcoming film titled Dammu will mark the star’s return to a full fledged masala action entertainer. Boyapati Srinu is directing the film and KS Rama Rao is producing it. Shruti Haasan is NTR’s co-star. In an interview given to a news channel, NTR confirmed that the film has been titled as ‘Dammu’ and it’ll most probably release in March.
Although the film’s shooting began in April, NTR had divided his time between shooting for Oosaravelli and Dammu. After few months, he requested Boyapati Srinu and KS Rama Rao to put the film on hold for few months so that he can finish Oosaravelli as soon as possible. Oosaravelli has already hit the screens and after a break of couple of weeks, NTR is going to join the sets of Dammu at the end of the month. MM Keeravani is composing the songs for this mass entertainer.
