Story:
A racy tale, the story begins with Thirupathisamy (srikanth) who works as an investigative journalist and a honest, tough man. He dares the evil doers in society and keeps writing about them. In one such instance, he also commits a crime deliberately to expose the wrong things happening inside a jail. Now, all this leads to the suspension of the minister and the concerned officials. Meanwhile, Thirupathisamy falls deeply in love with Indu (sonia). The story takes a turn when Indu gets kidnapped. Thirupathisamy gets into a different route searching for her. What happens after forms the rest of the story.

Presentation:
The director has come up with a thought provoking storyline and while the presentation was neat, the narrative was engaging at some instances. The dialogues were decent. The script was written well but the screenplay got stretched at key points. Background score was good but the songs were like the rhythm breakers of the film. Cinematography was excellent. Editing was required badly during the second half. Costumes were stylish and trendy while the art department was appealing and colorful. Srikanth has come up with an excellent performance and shows his mettle. Sonia Agarwal is stunningly sensuous and she will develop more of her fan base. Mahadevan was very good. Ganesh Yadav was gradual, Bose Venkat was better, Manivannan was moderate, Sriman was standard, Saranya was usual.

Conclusion:
The film was meant to release about five years ago but it got to see the light only now. However, the back is with a bang since one cannot make much of a difference in the time. With stupendous performances from both the hero and heroine, the film looks promising. While the first half was on a lighter mode with elements of romance, comedy and songs, the second half gets into serious mode with action and stunts. Overall, this is a film for action lovers and those who like quick treats. At the box office, this would be an above average grosser.

Bharatstudent verdict: One time watcher.
