Salim Master is the man who made generations of stars dance to his tunes. NTR, ANR, Krishna Sobhan Babu, Krishnam Raju and Chiranjeevi – all of them have danced to the choreography of Salim master. Age and fitness of the stars were never an issue with Salim. Born in Kerala in 1936, Salim master had the knack of latching on to unique mannerisms of every actor he worked with. From NTR’s famed hand movements, to Sobhan’s flick of the hair curl, or ANR’s hip wriggles not to mention Chiru’s throw-back collar dance moves – all were the signature moves that Salim created. In fact for most of Chiru’s movies with director Kodanda Rami Reddy, Salim was the de-facto choice as a dance master. Even in Kollywood, Salim Sir was the mastermind behind MGR’s famed dance moves.
