The Dirty Picture sequel is on

The makers of The Dirty Picture are planning for a sequel to this biopic. The film is based on the life of Southern sex siren Silk Smitha. Looks like, the makers of the film are not satisfied with the film’s response and are planning to show more in this sequel. Vidya Balan who is setting the screen on fire with her oomph factor is not the makers choice for this sequel.

Mahie Gill of ‘Not A Love Story’ fame is going to play the female lead in this film. The sequel is being titled The Dirty Picture 2. On the other side, The Dirty Picture pumped Rs 25 crore in the form of theatrical rights to its producers Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor.

Emraan Hashmi, Tusshar Kapoor and Naseeruddin Shah played male leads in this film. Mila Luthria of ‘Once upon a Time in Mumbai’ directed this film. The movie is slated for December 2 release worldwide.
