Ileana and Anushka would have been the top bets not too long ago. But sky rocketing remunerations have cast a shadow on their careers and the producers have developed a sense of cold feet while approaching them for dates. Anushka has one only movie going for her right now, that is Dhamarakam. Ileana is faring no better.

Priyamani’s career has not exactly taken off. And Kajal’s remuneration, despite her very good box office success ratio, is raising eyebrows too. Sources In the industry say she is very close to Anushka’s remuneration. That leaves Tamannah, Samantha and Taapsee. Among this lot, Tamannah definitely is a bigger draw, and commands more remuneration. But the dark horse could be Shruthi Hassan.

Tamannah aside she is the only heroine who is paired up with all the big heroes in South. Pawan, Jr NTR, Suriya – she has films with all of them. In a recent interview, she matter-of–factly observed that she will perhaps set a record for the maximum movies turned down. But the fact remains that she is yet to deliver a full blown commercial hit. Her October bi-lingual release (seventh sense) should hopefully rectify that. Till then it would perhaps be a tie between Tamannah Bhatia and Kajal Agarwal.
