Ace director Maniratnam’s next movie is going to the floors from October. The movie is a soft romantic love story and Karthik’s son Gautham is making his debut with this movie. It is being reported that Santosh Shivan and A.R.Rahman have been roped in to handle the cinematography and music departments. Both these maestros share a good rapport with Mani Ratnam and this combination has worked very well in the past.

There are multiple names being heard regarding the heroine but no formal announcement has been made so far. The movie will be a bilingual in Tamil and Telugu and will be dubbed into Hindi later.

Let us hope Maniratnam leaves the disappointment of ‘Ravan’ behind and comes up with a magical entertainer like he used to in the past
