Basking in the super hit status of his new release Dookudu, a relaxed Mahesh revealed that he believed Ajay’s cop character was tailor-made for a remake starring Salman. He however hastened to add that the final choice would be made by the producer and director.

The handsome actor also said that he was confident of the film’s success right from the first narration. When asked what he felt was the most challenge aspect of the film, he said, it was the accommodation of the comedy elements in the script. The actor paid rich compliments to Brahmanandam and M S Narayana and said that It was a privilege working with actors of such calibre.

He credited Srinu Vaitla for balancing different emotions and commercial aspects in the film. To a different query, Mahesh rubbished rumors of the number game (among Tollywood heroes) and said that he would mainly focus on quality scripts that entertain people.
