Speaking at the function, Jonnavithula said that he considers it his 'poorva janma sukrutham' to work for this project. "The story of Ramayana is intrinsically embedded in all of us. There is a lot of dramatization in this movie and the audience will love it. I ensured that the lyrics strike a chord with the listeners. The devotion should come out from within their hearts. Ilayaraja has given such wonderful music and in these days when music is full of techno beats, this album has melodious symphonies. Listeners can enjoy the album in silent devotion."
Umesh Gupta, the MD of Aditya Music said that he is happy that such an innovative step is being taken for Telugu cinema music beginning with Sri Rama's movie. "The music has become a super duper hit and we are happy to launch the memory card for the first time in Telugu Film history with this project."
Hero Srikanth thanked Balayya for giving him an opportunity to work in the movie. He said that the songs achieved stupendous success and expressed his happiness for that. Revanth, the son of Yalamanchili Sai Baba, thanked one and all for making the project a huge success. "Aditya music has been working overtime to meet the heavy demand for the music and I hope that the music continues to be successful."
Balayya thanked Aditya Music for the support given during the movie and also for the new concept of memory card. "This memory card will easily fit into our cell phones and help us to integrate the music into our daily lives. The idea for this movie happened very casually. There was no major difficulty. All the artistes accepted with joy when they were approached for the roles. ANR was overjoyed when I asked him to play the role of Valmiki. Bapu and Ramana are master story tellers. I would not have done this movie if any other director undertook the project. We selected the episode of lava and kusa from the Ramayana for our movie. Ilayaraja has given masterful music. There are no boundaries for enjoying such a divine album. Please dont encourage piracy." Balayya also commended the producer for having the courage and conviction to make such kind of movies in the present cinematic conditions.
The concept of officially buying a film's music on memory cards is radical and new for our industry. Let us hope that this format succeeds.
