Superstar Rajnikanth and Tamil heartthrob Surya have come out in support of veteran activist Anna Hazare. The Tamil demigod said that corruption is a disease that’s killing India and it needs to be eradicated. Praising the ‘bloodless revolution’ taking place, Rajni said that such a revolution was possible only in a karma bhoomi like India.

“I am very happy that we have a very able and dedicated leader in Anna Hazare to lead us in this fight against corruption. This kind of peaceful movement is possible only in India which is the birthplace of Satyagraha,” he said.

Surya expressed his solidarity with Anna Hazare and appeared at a token one day fast in support of the Lokpal campaign.
